Training Requirements

3 Hours of group rehearsals on Saturdays

1 Hour of independent solo/duet training rehearsals on Saturday Mornings

***Exact times to be released in schedule***

Training at least 1 hour per week in specialization outside of rehearsal time

Taking a Jazz Technique class at En L'air Academy of Dance and Aerials

Some roles require a Ballet Technique class taken at En L'air Academy of Dance and Aerials

Participate in Company Intensives:

August 5 - 9, 2024 4:30-9:00pm

Pricing and Tuition

Company Unlimited Pass $290.00 + GST per month or $2,610.00 GST per 9 month season. This includes all classes at En L'air and open training time.

*Early-bird rates do not apply

***For families adding additional family members to the pass: an additional $110/month per child.

Summer and Winter Intensive Tuition: $269.00 + GST

Lead, Supporting Role, Self-Choreographed Competition Solos/Duets, Open training time Fees: $60.00 one time payment

***Self-Choreographed Solos will need to pay a $25.00 administration fee to register for competitions on top of competition fees.

Optional Competition Solo/Duet Add Ons:

Instructor Choreographed 8 Rehearsal Competition Solo Package: $325.00 + GST per (one time payment)

Instructor Choreographed 10 Rehearsal Competition Duet/Trio Package: $215.00 + GST each (one time payment)

***Competition solos and Duets can either be self choreographed during company independent training time OR can be scheduled privately for an instructor to choreograph***

Company director is allowed to limit the number of competition solo, duet or trios.

Expect additional fees for Tracksuit, Competition Fees, Performance Fees, and Costume Fees

Cirque En L’air

When students graduate from this program they will have the skills, tools, and knowledge to enter the professional world of dance.

Cirque En L'air is a semi-professional company and is a new addition to our training programs this season. We have designed this program to give students who have begun training at an advanced level in their specific art form to have a more focused training schedule. Cirque En L'air is designed to be more self-directed giving students opportunities to contribute creatively.

Benefits of Cirque En L’air

Performers have the opportunity to self-choreograph solos independently. Performers will receive guided feedback, encouragement, and support throughout this process.

Performers are eligible to compete solos and duets at competitions in addition to being cast in lead roles in productions.

Performers have the opportunity to be hired for paid gigs in the community.

Performers are paid 75% of the net profits from both Winter and Spring Productions. This is divided evenly amongst company members.

Eligibility

Performers are chosen for their specific skill set and their motivation to perform and inspire.

Age 12+ before September 15, 2023

Training at an advanced level in their specialization

Ages 18+ Must carry pro-serve for paid gigs

Performers must complete the application process which includes the following:

In person performance audition

1 on 1 interview
Q&A form
Submit a resume
Submit a recommendation letter from an Academic Instructor if performer is enrolled in grades 6-12
