Training Requirements
3 Hours of group rehearsals on Saturdays
1 Hour of independent solo/duet training rehearsals on Saturday Mornings
***Exact times to be released in schedule***
Training at least 1 hour per week in specialization outside of rehearsal time
Taking a Jazz Technique class at En L'air Academy of Dance and Aerials
Some roles require a Ballet Technique class taken at En L'air Academy of Dance and Aerials
Participate in Company Intensives:
Winter Intensive : January 2nd - 4th 2026 9:00am - 4:00pm
2026 Intensive : July 3rd - 7th 2026
Pricing and Tuition
All fees are non-refundable
Company Unlimited Pass $400 + GST per month or $3,600 + GST per 9-month season.
This includes all classes at En L'air.
*Early-bird rates do not apply
**The unlimited pass includes a maximum of 4 aerial classes per performer. Physiotherapists recommend children who are starting intensive training do not take more hours than their age ie. 12 years old = 12 classes. Students must be registered for classes they attend to ensure accurate numbers in class. As they are taking a spot in class, they must attend the classes they are registered for and withdrawal may incur a $75 withdrawal fee.
Summer and Winter Intensive Tuition: $500 + GST
Lead, Supporting Role, Self-Choreographed Competition Solos/Duets, Open training time Fees: $80 one time payment.
All self choreographed duets must have 3 private rehearsals with an instructor to clean. Cost $60 per dancer.
***Self-Choreographed Solos will need to pay a $50 administration fee per solo to register for competitions on top of competition fees.
Cirque En L’air
When students graduate from this program they will have the skills, tools, and knowledge to enter the professional world of dance.
Cirque En L'air is a semi-professional company for performers aged 12 and older. We have designed this program to give students who have begun training at an advanced level in their specific art form a focused training schedule. Cirque En L'air is designed to be more self-directed giving students opportunities to contribute creatively. Performers are chosen for their specific skill set, professional attitude, and their motivation to perform and inspire
Benefits of Cirque En L’air
Performers have the opportunity to self-choreograph solos and duets independently. Performers will receive guided feedback, encouragement, and support throughout this process.
Performers have the opportunity to be hired for paid gigs in the community.
Performers are paid 75% of the net profits from both the Winter and Spring Productions. This is divided amongst company members.
Eligibility
Age 12+ before September 15th, 2025
Ages 18+ Must carry pro-serve for paid gigs
Training at an advanced level (level 6 + in specialty)
Performers must complete the application process which includes the following:
In person performance audition
1 on 1 interview
Q&A form
Submit a resume
Submit a recommendation letter from an Academic Instructor if performer is enrolled in grades 6-12
